Known as KB4023057, it’s a Windows Servicing Stack Update which makes sure the Windows Update process is handled smoothly. Can I remove Windows Remediation
Yes, you can remove it just like any other program. However, it’s not recommended that you do so. And even if you uninstall it, it will reappear whenever the OS needs the file for an update.
